Abstract

The main objective of this work is to investigate the relationship between high school students in a State School located in the city of Tefé-AM, with mathematics and the extent of such difficulties found by them reflect on their performance in the Physics subject. To achieve this objective, a list of exercises was produced with basic and applied mathematics content to students in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of high school. To better understand your personal positioning of each student in relation to mathematics, a questionnaire was proposed to them.
