| Abstract: | The present work intends to weave reflections on the council of Nicaea as a window for the understanding of the approach of the Church and the Roman State. Articulating a debate with the history of religions and the study of councils in historiography in order to provide a of the religion in the period in which the council took place, as well as the transformations occurred during this period. Demonstrating the conceptions that form on this event in history, through a bibliographical survey. |
| Description: | O presente trabalho pretende tecer reflexões sobre o concílio de Nicéia como uma janela para o entendimento da aproximação da Igreja e o Estado romano. Articulando um debate com a história das religiões e o estudo sobre concílios na historiografia, a fim de proporcionar um panorama da religião no período em que ocorreu o concílio, assim como as transformações ocorridas nesse período. Demonstrando as concepções que se formam sobre esse acontecimento na história, através de um levantamento bibliográfico. |
