Prática pedagógica de professores de Ciências Naturais em Manaus - Brasil: uso de instrumentos didáticos no ensino

Abstract

Concerns about the quality of teaching of science led to the development of this research. It is a subject of research, education professionals in the area of the central-west city of Manaus. The aim was to investigate, through application of questionnaires, the school, teachers and administrators. The topics investigated provided information about the school, their daily life and the profile of these, focusing on the characteristics of teaching in practice teaching and the use of teaching tools. The methodology used or contact with the following tools: literature search for the construction of the theoretical framework, Lakatos and Marconi (1995), where field research was a comparison between the theoretical framework built and the reality of the object of study proposed Bastos and Keller ( 1992) and research-action which has developed in the school environment, along with teachers, students and the community, Ludke (2004). It should be emphasized that the research was focused on pedagogical practices of teachers, and a support necessary studies on the teaching of science. The results observed on his education, the pedagogical practices and the use of tools and materials indicate inadequate education, limited and restricted use of teaching materials as well as the difficulty of working the cross-cutting themes. It is possible, still, identifying the unpreparedness in the development of educational practice, lack of knowledge that is updated more evidence in a speech that does not apply to the reality that experience. It's worth remembering that not only solve this problem by providing instructions to teachers only theoretical, it is necessary a reformulation of its initial and ongoing training for teachers of Natural Sciences for the elementary school, objects to this study.
