O Desenvolvimento da Expressão oral nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental

Abstract

The preset work has as general objective to understand how the development of oral expression is worked in the initial years of elementary school; and as specific objectives, analyze the oral communication in the early years of elementary education, describe the competences and skills in the oral expression of learners, and finally present strategies to enable oral communication of learners. It’s presented the concept of orality, its surging, characteristics, divergences and similarities with writing. Researched authors were: Ong (1998), Street (2014), Calvet (2011) and Antunes (2003), among others, on the subject. The context of the research was in a public school in the town of Parintins – AM. The methodology adopted was bibliographical research, qualitative research, and the method of dialectic approach. It was adopted for the data collect the observation, the questionnaire, and the focus group. The subjects were twenty-eight students of the 3rd year of elementary school and the teacher of the class. The results point out that the orality subject is still a subject misunderstood by the educators, and the work of developing oral expression in the class is still not supplying all the needs for the development of oral expression of learners.
