| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O artigo tem por objetivo analisar a representação da mulher no conto infantil O Gato Malhado e a Andorinha Sinhá, de Jorge Amado. Pretende-se, ainda, refletir sobre a representação de gênero como uma construção social, discutir sobre o papel do patriarcado na representação social da mulher, além de relacionar a temática do conto à realidade contemporânea. A reflexão sobre essa representação apoia-se no pensamento feminista, discutido, principalmente, por Grossi (1998) e Follador (2009). Para tanto, são discutidas concepções teóricas referentes à subalternidade, ao patriarcalismo e ao protagonismo de mulheres. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e adotou-se o método de pesquisa o qualitativo. A importância da pesquisa deve-se ao fato de, mesmo se tratando de uma obra voltada para o público infantojuvenil, após análise, “O Gato Malhado e a Andorinha Sinhá” revela que a condição de subalternidade vivencia por mulheres na vida real também se manifesta numa obra ficcional. |
| Abstract: | The article aims to analyze the representation of women in the children's story “O Gato Malhado e a Andorinha Sinhá”, by Jorge Amado. It is also intended to reflect on the representation of gender as a social construction, to discuss the role of patriarchy in the social representation of women, in addition to relating the theme of the short story to contemporary reality. Reflection on this representation is based on feminist thought, discussed mainly by Grossi (1998) and Follador (2009). Therefore, theoretical conceptions referring to subalternity, patriarchy and the protagonism of women are discussed. A bibliographic research was carried out and the qualitative research method was adopted. The importance of the research is due to the fact that, even though it is a work aimed at a children's audience, after analysis, “O Gato Malhado e a Andorinha Sinhá’ reveals that the condition of subalternity experienced by women in real life also manifests itself in a fictional work. |
