Análise de custos da violência física doméstica contra a mulher por meio do Método de Custeio por Absorção

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the ensuing costs of domestic violence against women by the absorption costing method. This accounting tool allowed the case-by-case analysis and enabled expenditure measuring required to victim assistance. Ten police reports, registered at 13th Manaus Police Department, located at Cidade de Deus district, were analyzed after the exploratory research conducted. In those reports, information about the offenders was crossed, such as type of aggression, age group, offender profile and others. Results show that even if expenses measuring is done, this estimate cannot be determined or settled, since these samples implicate many variables.
